The Molecular Toxicology Lab (MTLAB) is committed to fostering a collaborative research environment that leverages diverse expertise within the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Through multidisciplinary approaches, MTLAB aims to drive innovation by conducting cutting-edge research in the areas of molecular therapeutics and toxicology.
Who We Are
We are a team of six faculty members from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. The team was established in 2022 with the aim of providing a collaborative research environment across a diverse range of disciplines—based on the members’ expertise—within the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. These disciplines include molecular and preclinical toxicology, pharmacology, and experimental therapeutics.
Since 2022, the team has been developing a state-of-the-art laboratory facility. Through several awarded grants, the team has successfully built core infrastructure to support its primary research activities in molecular toxicology and pharmacology. In addition, the team has established multiple in vivo and in vitro models.
