Dr. Homood As Sobeai holds the position of Associate Professor and serves as the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. He obtained his bachelor's degree from the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, in 2009. Subsequently, he pursued and earned a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences with an emphasis on molecular medicine and pharmacogenomics at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, in 2017. Dr. As Sobeai's research objectives focus on identifying novel therapeutics to treat several types of cancer, studying the role of senescent cancer cells in driving tumor recurrence, and screening for genetic and epigenetic factors influencing cancer etiology and progression. Dr. As Sobeai has secured several national and institutional funding grants for his work. He has generated work that has been published in respected journals and presented at national and international scientific meetings.
